As leaders we desire to follow Jesus' example, that being "servant leaders." We aim to exercise that authority with grace, humility, selflessness, care for the people and a faithful desire to build the body of Christ.
Steve and Sue, Senior Leaders.
Steve and Sue are the Senior Leaders at The Beacon. They desire to see individual members edified, equipped and then released to fulfill God's purpose and call on their lives.
They are both passionate about seeing the boundaries of God's Kingdom extended in New Zealand and throughout Australasia and beyond.
Steve is a preacher who has a quirky sense of humor, yet at the same time senses the Holy Spirits leading. He has a desire is to bring a practical application for your life so you can live life as it should be. Ps Steve has regularly spoken in churches, conferences, camps etc.
Sue oversees the children's ministries, womens ministries and with Steve leads with vision.
Gideon, Executive Leadership Team/ Young Adults/ Sunday Services.
Gideon with his wife Seph are apart of the executive leadership of the Beacon.
Aside from that responsibility Gideon leads the Young Adults, and assists Steve and Sue with the Sunday Service. Gideon is a gifted young preacher who is able to convey the Word with passion and honesty.
Peat has a passion for worship and an ear for detail. He has much to offer in knowledge and experience when it comes to praise and worship.
Peat has been blessed with a real ability to speak into the lives of the youth of this nation. Along with his "chalk art," Peat has spoken in many churches and performed overseas.

Roger and Meni, along with Peat and Caroline head up "Pursuit Youth."
Roger and Meni are passionate about the youth of today. Where some see trouble they see youth with potential. With a desire to see the youth of Aotearoa brought into God's Kingdom through the blood of Jesus, then mentored and released into His service they have committed themselves to this awesome ministry.
We could argue that the "heart" of God is missions. Missions is not just overseas, but it is all around us all the time.
We are blessed to have Linda as our Missions Team Director. Linda has experience through working for World Vision and Habitat for Humanity,New Zealand. Her experience, discernement and wanting to see the vision of The Beacon fulfilled is a strength that will lead us as we explore opportunities to partner with individuals and organsations in our nation and beyond.
