As a Christian man, are you concerned about your influence? Concerned about your influence in your family, church, community, nation? We have the awesome ability to be God's "men of influence" today and tomorrow. Stop and consider this, "are we being influenced or are we the ones influencing?" Our nation is changing and we cannot simply apply that Kiwi attitude "She'll be right." Our brethren at Berea were not easily influenced, they searched the Word daily to see if what Paul and Silas were professing was true (Acts 17). As men of God we need to make sure that we are not being influenced by outside forces, but, we are being led by The Holy Spirit and are influencing our families, church, community, nation and beyond for Christ. If you want to be a "man of influence" then determine now to be at "Men of Influence."                                  For Men, About Men, By Men Pastor Steve and the men from The Beacon invite you to join with them in a fun filled, challenging day+ of worship, the Word and fellowship. This year we are having electives on: "What it is to be a servant husband," "What it is to be a servant man in the church,"  "What it means to have a servant attitude in evangelism," and this year, for the first time we're offering an eleective for 18-25's "What it means to be a servant in a generation of selfishness."

Speakers for 2010 are: ELECTIVE SPEAKERS. Pastor Joel Shoaf.         Joel is the Pastor of Bay Baptist in Napier and has been a frequent speaker at MOI. Each time Ps Joel  has challenged us as men to rise to new levels. This year Ps Joel will inspire and challenge us to look at our position in regards to being a servant husband. We often think of the "head of the home" position, but do you realise your servant position?   Pastor Barry Smith. Barry is the Pastor of Hamilton Bible Church in Hamilton East. Barry is a great teacher and you will be inspiired as you contemplate the servant attitude that is needed in Evengaelism.   Pastor Erwin Santoso.  Erwin is the Pastor of a new church plant in central Auckland, IBC Central. Erwin is speaking on the subject of "what it means to be a sevant in a generation of selfishness."This elective is designed for 18-25's.    Pastor Cliff Wadsworth. Cliff is the Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist in Flat Bush, South Auckland. Cliff will challenge you to consider your purpose as a servant in your local church.

Key Note Speaker: Pastor Tom Reesor. Ps Tom is the Senior Pastor of Kapiti Baptist Church. Tom has a great heart for people and as he speakes you feel that heart throb. Ps Tom will be preaching on the heart of a servant.
