As a Christian man, are you concerned about your influence? Concerned about your influence in your family, church, community, nation? We have the awesome ability to be God's "men of influence" today and tomorrow. Stop and consider this, "are we being influenced or are we the ones influencing?" Our nation is changing and we cannot simply apply that Kiwi attitude "She'll be right." Our brethren at Berea were not easily influenced, they searched the Word daily to see if what Paul and Silas were professing was true (Acts 17). As men of God we need to make sure that we are not being influenced by outside forces, but, we are being led by The Holy Spirit and are influencing our families, church, community, nation and beyond for Christ. If you want to be a "man of influence" then determine now to be at "Men of Influence."                                  For Men, About Men, By Men   Pastor Steve and The Beacon men invite you to join with them in a fun filled, challenging day+ of worship, the Word and fellowship. This year we are having electives on "knowing God's will as a father," "knowing God's will as a husband," and "knowing God's will for your life." Besides these electives there will be preaching and some manly competition and, well we're not going to tell you, you'll just have to be there.

Speakers for 2009 are:   ELECTIVE SPEAKERS. Pastor Ken Young.         Ken is the senior pastor of International Baptist Church in Dannemora, Auckland. Ken will inspire you to consider the depth of God's Word in relation to the application for your life as a husband.   Pastor Mike Huffman. Mike comes via the USA and is on the pastoral team @ IBC in Dannemora, Auckland. Mike loves to see families be all they should be in Christ, so you will be confronted to be a greater man in Christ.  Jack McMahan. Jack is a missionary from the USA to New Zealand. Jack has an amazing passion to see God's men be all they can be as men of God. Jack's genuine character will get hold of your heart and challenge you to move to new levels in your life. KEY NOTE SPEAKER. Pastor Cliff Wadsworth. Cliff is a young Kiwi pastor, who has planted a growing church in Flat Bush, South Auckland. Cliff has a real zeal for the Word of God and you will glean real life principles in fulfilling your call.
